Mt. Agamenticus to the Sea (MtA2C) is an alliance of 10 conservation organizations working together to keep this region a healthy place for plants, animals and people.
We envision thriving communities connected by an expansive natural landscape that provides a haven for wildlife, and enhances the health and well-being of our citizens forever.
MtA2C’s goal is to conserve 19,000 acres of forests, fields, wetlands and marshes across a six town area. Reaching this goal will ensure this region can continue to provide pure local drinking water, house the greatest diversity of plants and animals in the state and provide over 60 miles of trails for outdoor recreation.
Protecting the natural lands and watersheds in the Mt. Agamenticus region benefits nature- – people, plants and wildlife.
